Want to create an effective lighting system into your existing property

Just pop a dimmer in front of each series of lights, address the dimmers, set the scenes, place the Rako keypad in your chosen location and job done you have now got smart lighting.

 

Want to add another Rako keypad at the other end of the room?

With Rako you just need buy another Rako keypad, address the keypad to match the room and position the new keypad anywhere (The keypads are practically a wireless remote control that fits into a single back box.

 

Want to add more lighting to an existing Rako Controlled room?

With Rako you just buy extra dimmers, connect each dimmer to the series of lights you wish to add, address the dimmers to match the room, reprogrammed the keypads to add the new lights to the each scene. Sit back and enjoy your enhanced lighting.

 

How does Rako Wireless Work?

Rako is a very simple but ingenious system,

  1. a Transmitter (Keypad, Remote Control, AV System) sends a series of unique RF Signals which travel through the walls, ceilings & Floors of your property.
  2. the signal is picked by a reciever (Dimmer).
  3. If the signal matches the dimmer, the dimmer will respond appropriately by switching the lights on to a preset brightness, switch the lights off or raise and lower depending on the command sent by the Transmitter.
  4. A Keypad can have 4 scenes, each scene can operate upto 64 Dimmers giving you ultiamte control over your lighting & Blinds.
 

Rako Wired Control solutions

The wired system is as simple to use as the Wireless System. however is much more advanced, with a Rako Wired system you run all your lighting circuits back to central locations around the house (normally 1 per floor), these locations are linked together via CAT5/6 to link the dimmers together, then you run CAT5/6 to each keypad in a daisy chain or star wiring (or a mixture of the 2), the system is connected, programmed and then you just need to decide whatyou want to do from each button on each keypad.

 

Want to add to the wired system?

If you want to add additional circuits but do not have any spare cables from the dimmering racks, or you want to add a keypad which you forgot to run a cable for, not a problem, you can add Rako wireless products to the wired system and still run the whole house as 1 system,

 

Our experience of Rako

In our experience of working on various multi million pound properties, that although everything has been designed perfectly, once the project is nearing completion the client decides "wouldn't it be nice to add!!!" or a cable can't be located, or well just ANYTHING, with Rako we have always said "Not a problem" found a solution, 95% of the time we have fixed the problem within 2hrs without any damage, so not only is the problem fixed and forgotten about there is no major rewiring, plastering and redecoration which on most projects will cost £2k +and is always a noticable repair so there is no delays, no major costs to anybody.

 

Put simply, Rako has no limits.
