Komponent loudspeakers use extruded aluminium cabinets with advanced damping materials to minimise cabinet vibrations. The single piece structure with no glued joints brings greater rigidity and constructing the Komponent loudspeaker cabinets from aluminium helps to maximise the internal volume of each loudspeaker for the best possible audio performance.
The Komponent 110, 106 and 104 loudspeakers feature Linn’s patented 2K driver array technology which houses both tweeter and super-tweeter in an alloy chassis, isolated from the rest of the cabinet, for an incredibly pure and clean high frequency sound reproduction. The 2K driver array also creates a very wide dispersion of high-frequency signals giving greater flexibility when positioning Komponent loudspeakers in your room.
The Komponent 120, 110, 106 and 104 loudspeakers have also been specifically designed for wall mounting, and at approximately 155mm deep are perfect for mounting alongside a plasma or LCD screen.
The unique design of the Komponent 120 Bass-Reinforcement loudspeaker gives additional flexibility when positioning it within your room. Its attractive, low-profile design means it can be tucked away out of sight or even wall or ceiling mounted, rather than dominating your room.
For a more discrete appearance, Komponent loudspeakers feature invisible ‘Sekrit Fastener’ grilles, held in place by a series of small, powerful magnets below the surface of the loudspeaker cabinet.
The intelligent design of the Komponent loudspeaker system means cables are carefully concealed within the structure of the loudspeaker cabinets, ensuring the system remains as unobtrusive as possible.
The Komponent loudspeaker system is the perfect partner for Linn’s Unidisk SC multi-format music and movie player/processor, and the Majik 5100 power amplifier.
To experience the Komponent loudspeaker system at its best, upgrade to the improved performance of an Aktiv system by adding another Linn Majik 5100 power amplifier with internal Aktiv crossover cards.
