In-wall docking station for the Apple iPod®. Ideal for a local connection to audio amplifier and video display devices.
The first in-wall music system for iPod. iPort connects your iPod to any stereo or entertainment center. Free yourself from the constraints of wires and share your music, videos and photos.
System Capabilities
• Compatible with most dockable iPod models including iPod touch.
• Built-in preamplifier allows variable volume control via IR or the iPod’s volume control.
• Delivers local-zone unbalanced audio up to 30 feet (9m) from the iPort.
• Charges the iPod/iPod touch while it is docked.
• Delivers unbalanced video (iPod video content only, not program metadata) up to 30 feet (9m) from iPort.
• IR allows remote control of most iPod/iPod touch audio functions when in general control mode.

• Optional RS-232 Control Upgrade Kit (part number 70012) enables two-way communication and control of the iPod/iPhone via compatible control systems (requires Balanced Audio Upgrade Kit, part # 70130).
• Optional Balanced Video Upgrade Kit (part number 70131) delivers video up to 250 feet (76m) from the iPort.
